The RCM is a differential pressure direct reading flow meter that can be provided in either a threaded 7000 series or flanged 8000 series connection. The flow meter measures flow based on a pressure differential created across a calculated flow nozzle. Bellows sense the differential pressure and drive a mechanical lever and precision gear movement to indicate flow directly on the easy to read 3.5" dial. The dial and bodies orientation can be field configured in any 90º increments.

The reed switches make or break contacts by detecting the position of a magnet permanently attached to the lever mechanism on the flow indicator. This technique ensures a constant correlation between the flow rate indicator and the flow switch. In addition it provides extremely reliable flow sensing which is highly immune to fouling by small particles in the flowing liquid.
